For the first time in Kerala and perhaps in India too, an exclusive exhibition of cartoons of well known cartoonists from around the world is being organised in Kochi as a part of the forthcoming Cartoon and Caricature mega event -Caritoon Kochi 2017.

The show will be inaugurated on 28th April, 6 pm by Sri. P Sreeramakrishnan, Hon’ble Speaker of Kerala. The exhibition will end on May 08, 2017.

In connection with the inauguration of the new International Terminal (T3) at CIAL, the members of the Kerala Cartoon Academy will create spot caricatures of 1001 passengers at the emigration terminal.

Kerala Cartoon Academy, in association with Press Club Ernakulam is organising an exhibition of cartoons by women cartoonists of India. Cartoons of noted cartoonists Late Maya Kamath, Manjula Padmanabhan, Ayisha Husein, Salvia Raj, Remadevi, Rachana Vijeesh, Mini V S, Soorya and Sera Mariam will be exhibited. The exhibition will be inaugurated on 7th March at 11.30Am and will run till 8th March.Venue: Press Club Gallery, Press Club Road, Ernakulam, Keralapranam.pngKerala Cartoon Academy’s prestigious gift to the Capital of India,CARTOON PRANAM (the panel of 111 cartoons and caricatures of Rashtrapathi Pranab Mukharji, which was exhibited at Rashtrapathi Bhavan in 2012 and repeated in Vigyaan Bhavan on National Media Day of 2015) is now exhibiting at Rashtrapathi Bhavan marble hall along with all other gifts to the Bhavan. Till date more than 3 lack visitors viewed the exhibition.

As a promotional program of CariToonKochi 2017, Kerala Cartoon Academy decided to host Cartoon Pranam Exhibition. Caricatures of President of India Pranab Kumar Mukkerjee will be exhibited at OrthicCreativeCentre, Karikkamury Cross Road, Ernakulam from February 28th to March 3rd. Cartoon, Photo and Media Exhibition organising in association with Kerala Media Academy, Kerala Cartoon Academy and I&PRD og Gov Of Kerala at Tagore Hall, Trivandrum . Rare Cartoons of 1956-57 will be exhibited in this unique show.


Cartoon camp conducted in association with MES College, Marampally, Aluva, Kerala. 60 budding cartoonists attended the one day camp. The participants expressed their views through their cartoons on the topic “Women Safety”

web-postsKCA organised Demonetisation Cartoon exhibition, as the curtain raiser of Caritoon 2017. The Exhibition, titled ‘Surgical Strokes’ is unmistakably themed on ‘demonetisation’ as its name suggests.The exhibition displays over 200 cartoons by as many as 64 artists. Organized by the Kerala Cartoon Academy, the exhibition was inaugurated by auto rickshaw drivers and heavy load workers in the presence of Finance Minister Thomas Issac. The cartoons which pasted on the fence of Subhash Park are placed right where they can catch the eye of the common man. Hibi Eden MLA, P Rajeev (CPM Dist Secretary), Vinod P J (DCC President), A N Radakrishnan (BJP State General Secretary), K S Radhakrishnan former PSC chairman, Jayachandran (CICC) etc were present at this function.
